Our Church Mother,  First Lady Celestine M. Peters
President of the International Women's Council
Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith Inc.

A powerful and pulsating woman of God, Mother Peters is known for imparting practical applications for the "Perfecting of the Saints."  Having been a servant of Kingdom work for over 42 years, she is an anointed and gifted motivator and surely called by God for such a time as this.

In her years of walking with God, she has served in many capacities both locally and internationally equipping herself for the purpose and destiny in her life.  In the local church, she has served as Young Adult Sunday School Teacher, Youth President, Choir Directress, Missionary President, Women's Ministry Coordinator, and Ministers and Deacons Wives Guilds President.  In 1996, Mother Peters established the Greater Refuge Church King's Kids Christian Academy and served as Administrator for four years.  On a regional level she has served as Vice President of MDWG in the Virginia Northern Diocese.  Mother Peters also served as Vice President of the International Women's Council for the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.  She has most recently been elected to the position of President of the International Women's Council for the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.

As a result of her servitude and commitment to the "Perfecting of the Saints", she has traveled around the world and abroad touching the lives of many.  She offers workshops, seminars and one-on-one mentoring to women, young and old alike.  She has been the keynote speaker for various women's conferences and retreats. With her in-depth knowledge and passion for excellence, she challenges women to "walk as God has ordered."  Mother Peters modest style and result-oriented approach allows her to minister to people from various walks of life.

Educated through Virginia Union, Rutledge College, and Liberty University, Mother Peters prides herself on being a student of the Word.  With her formal training and God-given talents, she reaches out and is able to impact the lives of many.

A native of North Carolina, Mother Peters is the daughter of District Elder Fred and Mrs. Mamie Martin.  She and her husband of 35 years, Apostle Samuel R. Peters, Sr., currently reside in Richmond, Virginia.  Although she is a spiritual mother to many, Mother Peters is a natural mother of three beautiful children, Samuel Jr., Consuelo, and Alicia.  She has also been blessed with seven grandchildren.
